The Shekhawati College of Pharmacy, being started from the academic year 2006-2007, is an institution which is to provide the professional program for the Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharma) in the region. The holder of this degree will practice a profession, which besides being highly dignified, leads to the additional satistafaction of serving the ailing humanity.The establishment of the College has been looked after by the well known pharmacist, administrator and highly distinguished educationist in the field of pharmaceutical education and research, Prof. J.S. Qadry, who was specially requested by the founder of the college, Sh. Shish Ram Ranwa, to return from Dubai for the all round development of the college.The college offers well designed modern program which falls in line with the contempary needs of the pharmacy profession. Gone are the days, when pharmacists were just considered as dispensers. Today the role of pharmacists is no way less Health Care Team. Pharmacists play a very important advisory role for the doctors, who are busy with diagnosis and have no time to keep pace with the fast development of newer potent drugs, the incidence of drug interactions, adverse drug reactions, teratogenecity etc.
