The College is run by SJM Vidya Peetha Chitradurg (Regd). The institute aims to  be an ideal educational institution to impart need based and value based education and to produce a team of intellectuals who can contribute to the well being of the society. SJMV BAJSS Arts and Commerce College for Women is affiliated to Karnataka State Women University. Institute offers Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com).
