Sovarani Memorial College initially started functioning as an Arts College with only Commerce being taught at Pre University level. Today this co-educational college offers undergraduate courses also in the science and commerce, besides Humanities streams. At present ten honours subjects and fourteen general subjects from the curriculum of the college.
