SPM- IHS College of Nursing affiliated to The Tamilnadu Dr.M.G.R. medical University and approved by Indian Nursing Council. The College of Nursing was started as a unit of Shivparvathi Mandradiar Educational Trust. Initially the trust started the college of Educaton and Teacher Training institute. After gaining adequate experience in running educational Institution, the College of Nursing was started.

College Facility

Classroom

  • Class rooms are spacious and well ventilated. Each class room is Equipped with Desks, Benches, Black boards & White board(Marker board), OHP with screen notice board for the students, Lecture table and built in cup boards.

Laboratory

  • The college Lab is equipped with eight beds with bedside lockers and also has cup boards, racks, built-in cup boards, wash basins and adequate furniture. It has sufficient inventory articles, equipments and solutions for the students to practice. There are three manikins in which one is advanced CPR manikin.

Library

  • The college Library is equipped with cupboards and racks to store the cooking and serving utensils, hand washing facilities, 8 gas stoves, fridge, mixie work tables, display tables and other furniture.

Hostel

  • Separate hostel facilities are available for girls and boys. Hostel rooms are fully furnished with cot, study table, cupboards etc., It has modern hygienic kitchen, dining facilities and separate cloth washing and drying areas. South Indian vegetarian and non- vegetarian foods are served in the mess.
