Sree Balaji College of Nursing was established in the year 1992, under Sri Lakshmi Ammal Educational Trust. Government of Tamil Nadu sanctioned permission to start B.Sc. Nursing degree programme for intake of 40 students per year. (Govt. of Tamil Nadu G.O.M.S.No.772/Health, Dt. 03.07.1992).College is recognized by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi and Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council and it is affiliated to Bharath University. College has collaborative arrangements with various other tie-up Hospitals and Community Health Centre to cater to the needs of the students.

Laboratory

  • The university chooses to lay special emphasis on ensuring that its graduates are ready for the technical challenges of an information society. There are a number of computing facilities available on the college campus. The computer lab houses computers and is generally available during working hours only. Additionally there is a separate lab operated by the MCA Department. The state-of-the-art facility features hardware software that is geared to specific academic programmes.

  • A meaningful leisure time in one's college life is the time spent in Library. Library is the temple of learning as observed by our elders. Reading, Referring and Researching make a person more knowledgeable. The college library offers a wide range of learning resources. Hostel

  • The college has separate hostels for men and women. The hostel can accommodate around 400 boys and 200 girls. Comfortable single, double and triple bed rooms are available in the hostel. Tasty and nutritious food is served in the dining hall. You can opt for either vegetarian or non-vegetarian food. Foreign students can order food according to their preference.
