SSIET has well ventilated spacious classrooms, which are equipped with amenities like projector & audio-video. Every classrooms of the institute has a green board or a black board with computer white board & a podium and a noticed board is also provided in every classroom.

All the departments have well-equipped and spacious laboratories, with latest sophisticated equipments on par with the premier R&D institutions to conduct practical in the campus.

Books are not only the friends of man but the most essential companions on the route to Education. The institute library is located in a spacious new building of 500 sq.m - fully computerized & air-conditione. Institute has separate hostel for boys and girls. The hostel can accommodate 500 boys and 200 girls. Single room accommodation is given to the final years and PG students. They are also permitted to use their own computers in their own rooms. The has spacious dining hall and modular kitchen. Separate seating arrangements are made for both boys and girls.

The institute is also involve in national service camp and blood donation programmes.
