Sree Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology and Science is pioneering rural Engineering College in Mahabubnagar district of Andhra Pradesh. The Institution was sponsored and Established by Jayanthi Educational Society In the Year 1998 with the Approval of AICTE New Delhi and the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. It is affiliated to the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. The Institute is fully self financed and managed by the dynamic members of the Jayanthi Educational Society.

  • The institution has open access Library consisting 37,747 text books of latest editions. The Library is fully supported by Digital Library, the facility offered by SONET and more than 30,000 books can be accessed besides National and International Journals. The Library has also a book bank scheme under which a set of books on all subjects are loaned to the student till the completion of academic year.

Hostel

  • Separate hostels for Boys and Girls are provided. The boys hostel is located with in the premises of college campus.
