Sri Guru Gobind Singh College is a co-educational institution is maneged by  Sikh Educational Society and affiliated to Panjab University Chandigarh. It has a leading place among the educational institutions of the City Beautiful. Besides the usual faculties of Humanities, Science and Commerce and the Post, Graduate Department of Punjabi Language and Literature, the College runs two vocational courses in E.E.M. (Electrical Equipment Maintenance) and Functional English, BCA and B.Sc. Computer Science Courses.
