Sri Sarada College for Women, Tirunelveli, was started in 1986 to later to the educational needs of the women of the southern district of Tamil Nadu. It is a self financing college originally affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University. Since the creation of Manonmanium Sundaranar University in Tirunelveli in 1990, the college is affiliated to Manonmaniam Sundaranar University. Sri Sarada College for Women is offering bachelor and master degree courses.
