St. John the Baptist’s College of Special Education is a self financing college. This is a Christian minority institution managed by the Archdiocese of Changanacherry. The college educates and trains human resources to enable them to acquire knowledge and develop competencies and skills to impact education and training effectively to all children with mental retardation. The college prepares special teachers as agents of change in our society to break down the negative attitudes of community towards disability and moving towards normalization.
