St. Vincent College of Commerce was started by the Society of Jesus (‘Jesuits’), a Christian Religious Order founded by St. Ignatius of Loyola in 1540. Since its inception, the Society has been active in the field of education throughout the world. Worldwide, the Society of Jesus is responsible for over 665 Educational Institutions in about 65 countries, engaging the efforts of approximately 70,000 teachers and educating approximately 15,00,000 students every year. The Jesuits could undoubtedly be called the global leaders of education. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate course in Commerce.
