P.S. Varier set up a formal education Institution for Ayurveda. The Aryvaidya Pathasala was later rechristened as Vaidyaratnam P.S. Varier Ayurveda College is affiliated to kerala university of health and sciences. The college offers B.A.M.S and M.D in Ayurveda. Arya Vaidya Sala continues to extend financial support to the College.
