A.V.C College of Engineering is first self financing college in Nagapattinam District. It has been approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).It is affiliated by Anna University.The College offers Bachelor's degree in engineering and Master's degree courses in Computer Application and Business Administration.The college's mission is to participate in the noble cause of nation building by offering professional education, research and training in engineering and technology especially to the rural, poor and mediocre students.

  • All labs are well equipped with latest equipments.

Library

  • The college library is well equipped with Books, National and International Journals etc. Library also has a special section which is incorporated with Educational CD’s and DVD’s in field of Engineering, Management Science and Humanities. Library functions from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on all working days. Open access system is adopted to avail the maximum utilization of the Library resources. Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) facility is also available to save the access time of the users.

Hostel

  • College has separate hostels for men and women located inside the campus with all modern facilities including Gym and Yoga.

ExtraCurricular

  • A.V.C is a part of Indian Red Cross,and has a unit of Youth Red Cross members. The members are involved in several service activities like conducting medical awareness camps in rural area, blood donation, helping the traffic police in controlling the traffic in the town, conference on self employment etc.

The collge has a Training and Placement cell . College provides soft skills training programmes, interaction with leaders from industry and academia and industry interface through industrial visits and projects.
