Vivekanand Gramodyog Mahavidyalaya is affiliated to Chhtrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur. The College offers Bachelor and Master Degrees in the field of Arts, Science. The mission of the college is to broaden the mental horizons of the poor and largely educationally backward people living in rural and semi urban area by extending them quality education, promote the study of science and technology among students to equip them with necessary skills for competing in the national and global areas, uplift them the social ills of backwardness and superstition, impart value-based education inspired by the philosophy of Swami Vivekanand after whom the college is named.
