Since you are pursuing B.Sc. IT and B.Sc Physics (Honours), you can opt for MBA with Information Technology specialisation or MCA, as you mentioned for your queries.

MBA IT would lead to managerial responsibilities in various industries, while MCA would lead to software development and related opportunities in the IT industry as also in other industries in their IT department. You have to choose the programme as per your career goals and abilities.

MCA is usually a three year degree course but in some cases it may be possible to get lateral entry into the second year of MCA for candidates who have completed PGDCA. So it’s not required to do PGDCA.
