Well unfortunately, there is no educational requirement to join Indian politics. However, you should have good knowledge of political history, philosophy, science, economy and campaigning to enter in politics.

Politics refers to art or science of government or governing of a political entity, such as a nation and controls of its internal and external affairs. It is a process by which groups of people make collective decisions.

Since you are a medical student, it is advisable to go for medical field instead of choosing any other field. But the decision is in your hand whether you want to go for politics or not.
