Hi,

Any institute in India should have an All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) or University Grants Commission (UGC) stamp in it for accreditation and credibility. It is always advisable to go for an institute, which is recognized by the Government of India. However, there are numerous institutes affiliated to various universities like Kurukshetra University, Manipal University etc. which are in return recognized by AICTE and UGE. So, ideally an institute should be AICTE/ UGC approved or the affiliated universities (to that college) should be AICTE/ UGC approved.
