Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Hotel Management is a 3 years undergraduate programme in the field of hotel management which is designed for students who have completed their 10+2 with Science stream. After completing B.Sc in Hotel Management, you can work as Hotel Development Manager, Assistant Manager- Hotel Sales, Restaurant Manager, Revenue Manager, Hotel Maintenance Manager etc. You can also go for Master’s degree courses after completing your B.Sc in Hotel Management.

On the other hand, Diploma in Hotel Management is a 3 years diploma level course in Hotel Management that you can pursue after passing 10+2 from any stream. After completing Diploma in Hotel Management, you can work as Guest Relation Executive- Hotel Industry, Hotel Assistant, Assistant General Manager, Bar Manager, Floor Manager, Front Office Manager Etc. however, you can’t pursue Master’s degree courses after completion of Diploma in Hotel Management. You need to complete your Bachelor’s degree first to pursue Master’s degree in any stream.

It would be advisable for you to go for Degree programme rather than going for Diploma one. Degree programmes always have better career options than Diploma. However, the decision of selecting any course among them is totally depend on your own preferences.
