There is no specific branch of engineering related to Weapons Engineering, meaning it is not a separate field of study but a collection of two or more engineering branches. While many claim that it draws on the knowledge of several traditional engineering disciplines, including mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, electro-optics, aerospace engineering, materials engineering, and chemical engineering, experts are of the view that a combination of Mechanical and Electronics engineering would be the best way to go. Some also suggest Robotics to give you insight into the creative aspect of Weapons Engineering.
