It is very difficult to answer the question without knowing more about you, your interests and how much you liked your past year of working. If you have enjoyed working as a software professional and would like to go further in the field then it is best to continue with the job and seek for growth in this area. However, if you feel that software is not your passion area and you wish to do something that you truly enjoy doing then you can look at masters level courses in automobile/aeronautical/mechanical engineering. Your work experience will be of value to you and enable you to make a decision for the future. There is good scope for all the areas and the interest you have in them will help you give your best to the course you study and the job you pursue thereafter.
