To be able to become a researcher in any area it is advisable to pursue atleast a M Phil or PhD programme. These will train you well to undertake research. You can pursue your further degree in areas such as bio-chemistry, biotechnology, genes and genetics etc. there is no direct course for entry into the field of diabetics and you can enter through the areas mentioned above.
