You are right when you say that it was a mistake to ignore your interest. However, it is never too late. You have two options in front of you. First, complete your three years of physics degree and then pursue the subject of your interest at PG level. Or alternatively you can drop out of Physics (Hons) and take a UG course in your interest area. You can go for courses like Creative Writing in English or a bachelors degree in English. Creative Writing will equip you with an understanding of literary texts and their historical and cultural contexts, reception and consumption. It will equip you with the theoretical and philosophical tools to enable you to make a sophisticated and informed analysis of literary and non-literary texts - as well as the analytical, theoretical, textual and contextual proficiency. You can also go for courses like Mass Communication, Journalism, Advertising and PR at either UG or PG level.
