Dieticians are specialists. They don't just follow what the doctors recommend. Dieticians are experts in clinical and nutritional matters and they study people's diet and try and promote good health by advocating a healthy diet that might differ form person to person.
Career Options
1. Clinical dieticians: They work in hospitals, nursing homes etc and provide nutritional services to the patients there.
2. Community dieticians: They work in places like public health clinics etc and counsel individuals about prevention of diseases and promotion of good health.
3. Management dieticians: They oversee the meal planning etc in company cafeterias, prisons, schools etc.
4. Sports dieticians: They work closely with sports persons and regulate their dietary intake to improve their performance. Good Luck !!
