Dear Student,
Since, you are already pursuing your engineering from private institute; we advise you to continue your engineering from that institute. If you sit for JEE entrance exam, you have to waste your one academic year which is not a good idea. But the last decision is in your hand whether you want to sit for JEE entrance exam or to continue your engineering from that institute.
