Since, you have completed your 10+2 and now want to make your career in music; you can opt for Bachelor of Arts (B.A) (Hons) in Music. Music comprises a combination of vocal music, instrumental music and various dance forms. The degree course involves the study of music theory, music interpretation, history of music, composing, voice instruction etc. B.A (Hons) (Music) is degree that builds a strong foundation in music literature and history besides imparting strong musical (vocal & instrumental) skills in a student.

Eligibility:

• You should have passed 10+2 or equivalent in any discipline from any recognised board.

• You should have passed 10+2 with music as an elective subject.

• Students who have passed 10+2 without having music as a subject can also be eligible for B.A (Hons) Music degree after qualifying through an audition or aptitude test.

There are ample opportunities in Music field. You can work as Advertising Specialist, Art Director, Composer, Concert Promoter, Copy Writer, Disc jockey, Film Music Director/ Editor, Music Teacher, Musician, Studio Musician, Public Relations Specialist, Recording Technician etc.
