Hi Akshath Work experience is not really mandatory for admission to most B-schools in India, except for some like ISB, Hyderabad. But these days, more and more schools are preferring studenst with some work experience. The reasoning being that is that students can apply their experience to the theoretical concepts they meet in the classroom. But that does not mean that students fresh from college are at any disadvantage. If you are eligible and do well in your written test, GD and PI, then you stand as good a chance as any other student to get admitted to a good b-school
