Hi Deeksha, its good to see that you have so many diverse fields lined up for you. If you are given a choice between an Hons course and a professional one, we suggest you go for the Hons course instead of the professional ones. Why? Because an hons course is given more weight-age and will provide you with more options to choose from at the end of the day. Plus, you can do a professional course as a value in addition to your main hons course. SRCC is one of the best colleges for Commerce in the country, so if you can get through it, then nothing like it. If not, try other colleges for B. Com (h) or Eco (h) or Statistics (hons).

Law is also good, provided you complete your LLM and specialize in an uncommon field like corporate law or cyber law etc. The reason being, 1> there are many lawyers in the country and unless you specialize in a field for which there is a demand, your growth will be a little slow. Plus, if you wish to get a high paying job, then look at the corporate sector. Laywers are in demand and companies are willing to send money on them too!

Actuarial Science is also a very good option. If you can manage to pass out from the Institute of Actuaries (in India or London), rest assured that your future is safe and secure. Since this career is still at a very nascent stage in India, you can really do well and rise to great heights. Good luck!
