Aeronautical Engineering involves the design, construction and science of airplanes and space vehicles. Aeronautical engineers perform a variety of engineering work in designing, constructing, and testing aircraft, missiles and spacecrafts. They conduct basic and applied research to evaluate adaptability of materials. 

Eligibility: 

• You should have secured minimum 60% marks in 10th standard.

• You should have scored 60% in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics in 10+2 followed by AIEEE, IIT-JEE or entrance test conducted by university of institute or

• You must have completed your diploma in Aeronautical Engineering or Mechanical engineering.

However, eligibility criteria and admission procedure vary from college to college. You may contact every Aeronautical Engineering college individually for more details.

Some colleges take admission through lateral entry exams like Joint Entrance Examination of Lateral Entry (JELET), Diploma to Degree Entrance Competitive exam, etc. so you need to appear and crack these exams and some colleges conduct their own entrance exam for getting entry.
