Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIMC) was established as the first national institute for Post-Graduate studies and Research in Management by the Government of India. Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) of IIM designed to train students to become excellent general managers.

To take admission in Post Graduate Diploma in Management in IIM you have to score at least 50% in your graduation. Selections for the post-graduate programmes are done through a two-stage process. In the first stage, candidates will have to appear for CAT 2011. In the second stage, candidates will have take a Written Ability Test (WAT) and appear before a panel for group discussion (GD) and personal interview (PI).
