Politics refers to art or science of government or governing of a political entity, such as a nation and controls of its internal and external affairs. It is a process by which groups of people make collective decisions.

As you mentioned that you are looking for IAS, it is very good option to serve the nation. If you are afraid of this that you are not going to be selected for IAS as many of the students apply for this exam. We want to say that if you are good learner or have keen interest to do something for the nation, you should opt for IAS, whether there are no chances of selection.
