Doctor of Philosophy in Music is offered to students who show promise as outstanding researchers and master teachers of music.

Eligibility: you should hold a Master’s Degree from a recognised university in the relevant subject with a minimum of 55%. Selection will be through an entrance test and interview. The admission of Foreign Students to course is done by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. A number of seats in these courses are reserved for the nationals of various countries. However, eligibility criteria and admission procedure varies from college to college.
