Since, you have completed your 10+2, you can opt for Junior Basic Training (JBT) course. Junior Basic Training programme is a two years full time programme. It is considered as one of the most important part of elementary teacher training. Some teaching institutes in India conduct entrance exams for JBT, but most of the institutes enrol students on the basis of their marks in qualifying exams.

Eligibility: You should have passed 10+2 or equivalent from any recognized university

But you have to complete your graduation to make career in teaching field. After completing graduation you can opt for Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course.

B.Ed degree is mandatory for teaching in higher primary schools and high schools. The minimum qualification required for entry into B.Ed course is bachelors’ degree in any field.
