Hi,
CAD/CAM (Computer Aided Design & Computer Aided Manufacturing) has become a necessary tool for the industries involved in product development and production of precision parts. Quick 3D modeling, automated drafting of engineering components, assembly and manufacturing verification are must for rapid product development.
CAD involves the use of
computer hardware and graphics software to generate design drawings and CAM is a system of automatically producing finished products by using computer controlled production machines.
Many of institutes offer certificate, diploma and post graduate degree courses in the field of CAD/CAM.
Eligibility: - 10th pass for certificate courses in CAD/CAM, 12th pass for Diploma courses with Science stream.
For post graduate programme pass graduation in
engineering. Apart from B.Tech. / B.E. / A.M.I.E., some institutes accept B.Sc. (with mathematics or statistics or computer science or physics as a compulsory subject) / B.C.A. / bachelor’s degree holders in environmental or disaster management / B.A. or B.Sc. (with geography or geology honors) qualified candidates.
