Dear student,

You can build up a career in teaching after M.A in Mass Communication (securing minimum 55% marks) along with you must do B.Ed/ M.Phil for good placement. After B.Ed you can be a school teacher and can’t teach in colleges or universities. If you want to teach in colleges/universities then you have to appear for National Eligibility Test (NET) exam after completing your masters. You can opt for these degrees either through distance mode or part time.

Pursuing TGT or PGT is not mandatory to become a teacher.
