Environmental engineering concerns itself with the application of engineering principles for the protection of the environment. Environmental engineers are employed by the government and industry to monitor and control pollution, and to handle the environmental impact of new infrastructure projects and so on. You can work in research and development, recycling & waste management, social development, or as an environmentalist and as environmental consultants.

• The minimum eligibility to pursue environmental engineering is to pass 10+2 with Science stream from a recognized board.

• Some reputed colleges do conduct entrance exam to get admission into their college.

There are many colleges that offer environmental engineering at Bachelor’s, and Master’s level. As you did not mention your educational qualification, you can select courses as per your eligibility.
