Dear student, some pointers that might help you:

A UI (user interface) developer is someone who is much more focused on the functional details, and much less on design aspects (UX, styles, consistency, etc.). A UI developer should have a great understanding of the functional composition of a web page using HTML / CSS and can take a wireframe design and turn it into a functioning, well formatted, optimized, cross-browser compliant web page. They should also be very technical people so they have a very a great understanding of how browsers work in the background and how they communicate with servers. You should have a strong programming background (B.Tech), so that you are able to do write very complex scripts.
