Ph.D in Agriculture is three-year duration programme provides you the detailed knowledge in the practices and techniques of farming and forestry.

To take admission in Ph.D Agriculture programmes you should have passed M.Sc. or M.Tech. with Agricultural Engineering / Dairy Engineering / Water Science and Technology with at least 50% marks.

As you are non-agricultural in your Master degree programme shall have to take prescribed courses on Introductory Agriculture of 36 credits in the first year during their Ph.D. programme as per institute requirement. However, admission procedure and eligibility criteria vary from college to college.
