MBA is specific to business administration, doing MBA is very good option to enhance your career and managerial skills.

After B.tech it would be good to choose M.Tech or M.Sc depending upon your interest in terms of career because you are doing B.E. It will give you great exposures in your career.

Many people with a technical background do pursue the MBA and on the other hand, many technical people pursue an M.Tech or MCA. You have to make your decision based on what constitutes success for you whether you make your career in management or technical field.

As you are form IT field, doing further studies in M.Tech in electronics engineering or MBA Information technology (as you are interested in MBA) is very good option.
