Dear student,

Here are some steps which you need to follow to become a Pathologist-

• Complete your high school with Biology and Chemistry subjects

• Earn Bachelor’s degree with major in premedical studies, Biology and Chemistry.

• Go for Master's degree in Pathology, Biochemistry or Microbiology. This is an optional step, which would prepare you to work in a laboratory or to assist a certified pathologist. If you're sure you want to be a pathologist yourself, you may go straight to medical school.

• Attend medical school for four years and obtain Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
