Hi jagadeesh I came across your question while searching for something my alma mater(SACA), Yes i completed this course in 2011. I was also working before joining this course. If your current package is good then i would suggest not to join this course. I had not cleared GATE but also i got admission to this branch, because of the vacant seats. I joined because i lost job due to recession then. I did BE from BNMIT bangalore in CS. This SACA M.tech course is equivalent to 2 year MCA course. If ur BE is in CS/IS please dont join and waste 2 years, because the syllabus is all Bachelor level(look at syllabus in their website) and have to share classes with Btech and MCA fellows(most annoying for me), most of the elective subjects are just for namesake. Faculty are partial to kannada students(common problem everywhere). Coming to Placements, Good product companies never consider us as genuine M.Tech, only core M.techs(CS, EC) are called for placement. Out of so many companies very few call us for written. I got placed in Infy with 3.6 lpa. SACA takes people from non engineering background like BSc, MSc and MCA, its suited for them. Seriously this is not for Engineering students. Better go for core M.Tech in colleges like RVCE, PESIT, BMS, UVCE etc, Bangalore.
