Hi Saurabh,
You can pursue post graduate research programmes after B.Tech in Civil Engineering if you are interested in becoming a scientist. There are various institutes like IIT (Institute of Technology), IISC (Indian Institute of Science), IIST (Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology) offering research programmes in various fields. For example, research is carried out in areas such as Laser diagnostic applications, Aerospace, Non-destructive techniques, solid state physics and micro-electronic devices, Nano-materials technology, Structural Analysis, Transport, Geotechnical, Environmental and Water Resources, Building Technology and Construction Management, etc. After that you can go for Ph.D/M.S programmes offering with various fields related to Civil Engineering.
You can apply for entrance exam for ISRO conducted by Institute of Technology. Besides that, you can opt for PSU exams conducted by them and score good marks in that and try to get placed in ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation).
Good luck!!!
