Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is conducted by Center for Management Studies (CMS) special division of All India Management Association (AIMA). The number of institutes accepting MAT scores for taking admission in MBA course.

Eligibility: - The minimum qualification taking MAT is graduation in any discipline from any recognized University or equivalent recognized degree.

You can appear for MAT exam but you can’t pursue MBA from top management institute as 50% in graduation is eligibility criteria for admission but in few institutes you can take admission through entrance test scores. But all Unaided Non-Minority MBA institutes have 20% institute level seats i.e. if there are total 100 seats then 20 seats are institute level seats where the Director of the Institute will decide and give the admission for those seats. So, you can directly apply for these institutes where the director will grant you admission even with your low percentage in graduation but may be you will have to grant some donation also.

However, another option is to opt for Executive MBA (1 or 1.5 years regular MBA course) or one year Post-Graduate Programme in Management for Executives (PGPX) offer by IIM, which is especially designed for working professionals, so that they can enhance their education as per market demand. Since you have a work experience you can easily get admission in EMBA course.
