Marine Engineering involves the design, construction, operation and support of the systems and equipment which propel and control marine vehicles, and of the systems which make a vehicle habitable for crew, passengers and cargo. It normally takes place in a specialized facility known as a shipyard.

The Marine Engineering course of Cochin Shipyard Limited is approved by Director General of Shipping. The Marine Engineering Training programme is a one year fully residential programme.

Eligibility:

You should have secured minimum 50% marks in final year of engineering graduation.
You should have secured minimum 50% marks in English either in 10th or 12th standard.
You should not be more than 28 years of age.
