Dental science deals with diagnoses, prevention and treatment of diseases related to the teeth, jaws and soft tissues of the mouth. Dentistry are also includes cosmetology in which patient’s appearance is improved by using cosmetic dental procedure. 

After completing your 12th standard, you can opt for Bachelor of Dental Science (BDS). Bachelor of Dental Surgery is a five-year undergraduate programme, offered in dental colleges. BDS course aim is to produce a dentist who is socially acceptable and is able to work safely and effectively on patients in diagnosis, prevention and treatment of dental and oral disease.

Eligibility: You should have passed 10+2 with minimum 50% marks in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
