Dear student,
The course selection depends on what your interest are and what skills you possess, because both are different career paths and are equally good, both the careers require different skill set to deal.
BFM or Bachelors of Financial Markets is a three year undergraduate course that focuses on debt markets, equity markets, risk management, micro economics, investment, mutual funds and security markets. After BFM you have plenty of options which you may consider depending on your inclination and career objective like: Chartered Accountancy, Financial Analyst, Cost Accountancy, management etc. You can further your prospects by pursuing certification courses in financial markets by NSE. You can also pursue courses like CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or better your skills and employment prospects by pursuing an MBA. An MBA will serve you better than a CFA. Considering that most people change careers multiple times in their life these days, the MBA offers more job flexibility than does the CFA. Hence, choose the one that interests you, by going through what each of them provide, and check whether you have the skills to match and the select the best.
You can compare both courses as per your preferences by using our Compare Career Tool.
Good luck!!!
