Dear Amanpreet,
Since you are currently pursuing your BCA (Bachelors in Computer Applications), you would already be aware that this course is designed to train you in the various applications of different computer languages and basically help you make your mark in the field of IT. Thus, this course is all about computers and their applications. On the other hand, Statistics deals with making effective use of numerical data relating to groups of individuals or experiments in varying fields like industry, health, finance, politics, economics etc. A Master’s course in statistics is offered only to someone having a bachelor’s degree or diploma in statistics or mathematics.
So the other options that you can look at after completing your BCA are other computer-related degrees, such as MSc in Computer Science, Master's in Information Technology (MIT), etc You can also look at non-science or non-computer based programmes in the field of commerce and arts, but make sure that you meet all the eligibility criteria. Lastly, make sure that you pursue a course that you are interested in, rather than following the latest trends.
