Fashion Designing is a wide field. You have not specified what you want to do in particular. You could be a fashion stylist, an illustrator, fashion consultant, cutting assistant, sketching assistant, fashion stylist, textile designer or fabric designer, colourists, fashion merchandiser, visual merchandiser etc. If you want to be a designer, your job will entail designing the garment which includes sketching, cutting the cloth, sewing the pieces together and finally merchandising. MBA in Fashion Management will equip you with managerial skills in the field of fashion marketing, merchandising and retailing best suited to the requirements of garment export and fashion retail sectors and at the same time, inculcate the right attitude to be a part of the middle management of any growing organisation.

Basically, you need to have a knack for fashion. If you are looking at the creative aspect – Fashion Designing, then a bachelor’s degree in the same will be an advantage.
