Hi Daman , Girls can definitely join the Merchant Navy after graduation . To join the merchant navy , you will have to appear and qualify the UPSC examination and and rigorous training procedure before being inducted in the Services. The Indian Airforce has two areas which can involve yourself as an airman and as an officer . The navy is responsible for defence and security of Indias maritime interests and assets both in times of war and peace. Women have opportunities only in the Officer cadre of the Air force. In case of the Indian Navy, you can join the following categories: Air Traffic Control, Logistics Cadre, Law Cadre and Education. Good Luck !
