The course provide you with the skills to pursue a career in System Analyst, Software Engineer, Training Faculty, R&D Scientist, EDP Manager and many more development or scientific areas of computing .One can use these PG Diplomas with their respective bachelors degree to acquire jobs that require both computer and specific knowledge of the subject. After completing your PGDCA, you can also opt for these courses –

1. Master of Science in Information Technology (M.Sc IT)

2. Master of Computer Applications (MCA)

3. Master of Business Administration in Information Technology (MBA IT)

4. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

If you have a good aptitude and problem solving power and you have got Interest in software development then you can pursue MCA. Or else, if you have interest in business and management then you can pursue MBA. 

The course you select should be based upon your interest and capabilities. A two semester Post Graduate diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA ), is still being offered by Delhi University and it’s admission is through Joint Admission Test.
