You need to understand that there is scope for jobs after both MCA & MBA (IT).  If you go for an MBA in IT your role thereafter will be more on the managerial side. After an MCA you will get opportunities in programming, networking etc. The salary package you receive after an MCA will be close to that of a B.Tech candidate. Your compensation after MBA will depend on the B-school from where you pursue the course. We would advise you to select the course as per your interests. You can join MNCs as well as the government sector companies after either of the options.
